  • 1.  A Question on Foreign Travel limits

    Now that the Uniform Guidance has be come effective with guidelines as to acceptable pricing of a plane ticket, is the Fly American Act still in place for grants?  The website hasn't changed and I can't find any information if the UG travel section supersedes Fly American.  Thanks.  Pam

    Hi Pam,

    As I understand it, Fly America Act is still in place. It is not part of the UG but is incorporated in the "public policy" requirements of the grant terms and conditions. I was able to easily find the NIH and NSF references:
