Hi Paul,
Glad to hear that UPITT is expanding its funding portfolio to include global funding opportunities, too.
With regards to Horizon 2020, I would point you to the presentations that were presented at the Horizon 2020 workshop that NCURA organized on 8/5/15. In particular, I would point to the 1st presentation on the logistics (administrative aspects) of applying Horizon 2020 calls. Here is the link for that: NCURA > Global > Bilat USA 2.0/Horizon 2020 > Horizon 2020 Workshop - AM 57

Subject: Global Research Proposals
Good morning.
My University is looking to expand into more research funding opportunities from a global perspective. This will be achieved by searching for funding here within the United States and Internationally in a programs such as the Horizon 2020. My part of the initial search involves gathering information and putting together an outline of some requirements from an administrative standpoint to submit proposals to international funding opportunities (US based too) or organizations.
Whether it is general information about regions of the world or specific documents needed by agencies or even governments, I am putting this together to expand our already large research footprint beyond the United States.
I appreciate your assistance in this quest and hope this makes sense.
Thank you.
Paul
