I hope that this message finds you well. I am writing with a final invitation to join us next Tuesday, October 13, at Ball State for a discussion on collaborating on international development opportunities. The meeting will involve the following components and I am optimistic of fruitful conversation regarding future partnership opportunities:
· Speaking Engagement: A Panel of International Project Personnel from FHI360, a USAID Contractor, on “How Universities Can Be Effective Partners for International Development Projects”
· Workshop Session on “How to Find and Evaluate Opportunities”, guided by CID Advisory Council member, Ms. Bonnie Barhyte, and CID Proposal Development Manager, Courtney Franklin
· Workshop Session on “Engaging Business in Development Projects”, focused on public-private partnerships and guided by CID Advisory Council members Mark van Fleet and Sandra Davis
· Discussion of potential Consortium MOU and how we can most effectively move forward in a mutually beneficial capacity
