  • 1.  EU FP7 Audit Needed

    Posted Fri February 26, 2016 13:14

Looking for someone that has had a EU FP7 audit conducted by an independent accounting firm.

According to FP7 regulations, an institution that reaches the 250,000 euro threshold in FP7 grant funding must undergo an independent audit according to the terms of Annex VII - Form D in the FP7 Grant Agreement.

Can someone recommend an appropriate audit firm that is familiar with FP7 grants and can conduct audits in the U.S.?

    Hi Chris,

I know the following UK-based accounting firm had previously indicated that they are available to conduct Horizon 2020 audits for U.S. universities, so presumably, they would do so for FP7, too.

If you want me to make the introductions, let me know.  I've previously been in contact with Ellen regarding a similar issue.

    Dear Crhis

In order to avoid misunderstandings, Audits have to be submitted only when the EU contribution claimed is = EUR 375,000 or more.

I know that NCURA member Kerry Peluso from  Emory University had an audit about one year ago. Maybe she can recommend an audit firm.

    Best, Agatha
