With less than a month to go, consider attending the International Region's first Spring Meeting as it has a compelling program that includes global research policy makers, the science and technology diplomatic community, and your colleagues and counterparts from around the world. There will be a special helpdesk for Horizon 2020 (the European Union's US$100 billion+ research funding program), a panel discussion on research compliance across international borders, and a keynote address by the NSF's International Science and Engineering Section. Attached is the invitation from the Program Chair, Agatha Keller (ETH Zurich and University of Zurich), who gives us FIVE good reasons to attend. The logistical details are as follows:
Date: Wednesday, April 9th, 2014
Location: Washington, DC at the Washington Hilton
Registration Link: http://ow.ly/uyOJ0
Additional Meeting Information: http://ncuraintlregion.org/meeting/
In addition, there is currently still availability to attend a reception at the Swiss Embassy the evening before (Tuesday, April 8
th, 2014). So please register today, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
