NCURA's International Region Assembly is an open forum and public event that will take place on a regular basis to take stock of the progress made towards the objectives of NCURA's international strategy and its International Region and to discuss ways forward with a broader perspective in the global research administration community.
NCURA's International Region Summit 2014will take stock of the international research administration achievements, set priorities and chart the way ahead for stronger transatlantic relationships.
Issues on the agenda this year will include major global challenges in research and research management: to secure a leading role in getting funded via Horizon 2020; to support our to meet the challenges of the new digital society; to tackle security and development; and also to address a range of foreign research policy issues. The Summit will also take stock of the Global Research Council (GRT) as a unique opportunity to create jobs and promote growth in Europe, the US and the world.
GOING GLOBAL will be NCURA's premier in approaching international research management from an international perspective , with over 30 selected panelists from all over the world. It will take place on Wednesday, 9 April 2014 in the Washington Hilton | 1919 Connecticut Avenue, NW
