Dear Colleagues,
today I seek your advice in respect of W8-BEN Forms. As you can imagine it is quite a task for us to understand and fill in the W8-BEN forms. Therefore I would like to ask, how is your internal practice with W8-BEN forms when non US-Institutions are involved? Do you request the forms and if yes which ones. Do you encounter problems with non US-Institutions when asking for these forms? Is in some casees an affidative sufficient?
