Dear Colleagues:  The International Community Subcommittee is interested in posing this question to our Community - "How many of you have or are part of an FP7 initiatives and are working collaboratively with EU schools/colleges/universities?"  Please consider sharing this information with us as we would like to build a resource bank.

    Many thanks,
    Denise

    All,

Penn State has received a handful of FP7 awards.  The consortium agreements are negotiable but the grant agreements are non-negotiable in our experience.  The awards have been via other institutes of higher education and private firms.

    Hi Denise,

We have two awards that involve FP7 funding, both provided to us via subawards from other European universities.  I'll be interested to hear about other schools that have received these.

We have one FP-7 award/contract that involves funding to UAlberta.  We just signed the consortium agreement with the prime european university, so have not had any experience with post award.  We have run into several issues with the contract as there is little flexibility for the consortium partners to modify the agreement.
