Science|Business is organizing a conference on "Horizon 2020 - New Commission, New Agenda" on March 24, 2015, in Brussels.

Has anyone attended any of their previous conferences?  I would be interested in knowing your experience.

The agenda and speakers are interesting, including a number of European Commission officials and large companies:  http://sciencebusiness.net/events/Horizon2020_NewCommission_NewAgenda/PreliminaryProgramme.pdf

Also, the registration fee for non-profits is very reasonable at 80 euros:  https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/horizon-2020-new-commission-new-agenda-tickets-15302737901

Thanks in advance for any insights, especially from our European members.

    Jesse

    Dear Jesse,

ETH Zurich is a member of Science/Business Partner Network and over the past years we have profited from the insights and events they are organising in Brussels and elsewhere. They are good opportunities for sharing knowledge and best practices on the European Framework Programmes and other EU research and innovation initiatives.

Having said this, we would recommend the event on March 24.

    Regards,
    Annika

    Hi Jesse,
I went to myfirst business event this year. It was really insightful and a bit frustrating because some of the great ideas are not feasable in our tuition driven school. Nontheless I did learn a lot and grew my network of contacts. Which event are you thinking of attending?
    Cheers,
    Joann

    Joan,

I was looking specifically at the following event:   http://sciencebusiness.net/events/Horizon2020_NewCommission_NewAgenda/PreliminaryProgramme.pdf

"Horizon 2020 - New Commission, New Agenda" on March 24, 2015, in Brussels

    Which one did you attend?

    Agatha,

Thank you for that insight!  Good to know that ETH is a member of Science|Business, and I am pleasantly surprised by how reasonable their registration fee is for this type of workshop when most of the others I have seen have charged up to 10 times this amount.

I wonder if there may be opportunities for NCURA and Science|Business to collaborate?

    Jesse
