Debarment Monitoring and Minority Business Confirmation

I am looking to see how entities are currently monitoring their vendor payments to ensure the vendor is not on the exclusion list as well as confirming small and disadvantaged business status.  The software we have been using has gone out of support, so we are looking for suggestions.  Is this something that most people are doing in-house with SAM downloads or a another software company?  Thanks.

    Hi Tamara,

We use a solution from CSI called Watchdog Elite.  We screen all of our vendors and sponsors through this tool on a routine basis.  It checks a variety of government lists returning hits for review if there are matches or close matches.  I'm not sure if this would work for the dual purpose of also confirming small and disadvantaged status.

    Good luck with your search!
