Dear all,
I'm wondering, does anyone know of any university (or similar) that is outside the EU, but has a campus in the EU... and through that campus receives research funding from the European Commission Framework Programmes?
For example, I know that NYU has a campus in Florence, Italy. If that is a separate legal entity (which I'm assuming it is), registered in Italy, then it is eligible to apply for and receive EU research funding. But I don't think that it has. I know that NYU (in New York) has been involved in some networking projects, but being outside the EU has not received EU funding.
So, I hope my query is clear?
I'm not necessarily looking only for US institutions, just any that are not in EU members states (and not associated to Horizon Europe).
Thanks!
Simon
