    Hello,

On February 06, Region VIII will be hosting an educational offering on the NIH's policy change for non-US (foreign) organizations.

The session will offer a diverse range of perspectives from across the international research administration community. It will explore how the change is likely to impact research institutions (both US and non-US organizations), and what types of policies are being introduced in universities to be compliant with this change. Both experienced and less experienced Research Administrators in the international community will benefit from this session: it will offer a top-level assessment of the policy change and how US and foreign organizations are adapting to it, and it will provide participants with a more in-depth analysis of how US and non-US institutions - particularly those experienced with US Federal funding - conduct due diligence/risk assessment checks when entering collaboration agreements with subaward recipients. Participants will gain practical advice how to manage NIH grants in light of this new policy change, and how to best manage relationships between US PTEs and non-US subaward recipients.

Please see below for more information on the event and registration details:

    Thanks, and best wishes,

    Joey
