My name is Kelly Alongi; I am an Ed.D. candidate in the department of Educational Administration and Higher Education at Southern Illinois University. This study seeks to find what retention strategies are most important to Research Administrators, in order to ultimately be able to advise organizations as to how to better retain these employees.
You must currently be employed in Research Administration to participate in this survey. The study consists of an electronic survey that will take less than ten (10) minutes to complete. This study is completely voluntary; not participating in or withdrawing from the study will bear no penalty. This survey is anonymous; any potentially identifying information will be separated from the survey results and destroyed upon conclusion of the study. We will take all reasonable steps to protect your identity.
There is no compensation for participation in this study. However, you may voluntarily provide your email email via a separate link at the end of the survey to ensure anonymity if you would like to obtain a copy of the raw data, which will not have any identifying information. Email addresses will be separated from the survey results, and individual email addresses will not be able to be identified to any results. You will not be directly contacted for participation or follow-up on this study.
The minimum age for participation is 18. There are no foreseeable risks or discomforts associated with participation in this study. Potential benefits of this study are adding to the knowledge base of Research Administrators and guiding organizations in retention efforts of Research Administrators.
