  • 1.  SAM.gov Renewal - What Happens During a Shutdown?

    Hello everyone,

    While I am not the individual who renews on SAM.gov each year, my office is, of course, affected by timely renewal. Does anyone know if the individuals in charge of processing those renewals are deemed as essential by the federal government during a shutdown? Or will processing not continue until after government resumes?

    If this shutdown goes beyond the 35 days of the 2018-2019 shutdown, and the renewal date passes, what will the implications be for the renewing institution?
