I will preface before starting this discussion that I am new to the field of Grants Administration, having come from the adjacent world of Library Services.
Having read this article, I'm curious to the extend that AI is being used in our industry. Has anyone had PIs who have used ChatGPT to develop grant proposals? Have you or a colleague used ChatGPT for your work in grants administration? Lastly, given the author's positive experience using ChatGPT to prepare a proposal, would you consider encouraging your PIs to consider using the technology? I could imagine developing a PI workshop on this topic if the benefits are indeed valid.
