    Hi friends,

Laura Letbetter (GA Tech) and I are reaching out to colleagues who might be interested in writing an article for the October/November 2025 issue of NCURA Magazine. Here are the details:

Topic: Choose any aspect of research administration related to contracting (including subcontracting) and relevant to the designated theme.

Theme for the October/November Issue: The theme "UG – A Year Later" examines the impact of the October 2024 revision of the Uniform Guidance. Along with "general" updates, recent legislation, related regulatory requirements, and changes, several terms and definitions were included. How did you and your institutions respond? Did you analyze and set priorities, or did you purposefully select areas for attention? How extensive were your revisions to policies, processes, systems, and training? Are you done or just beginning? This is an opportunity to share your insights into the revision and responses to them.

Suggested length: Between 600 and 1300 words (i.e., somewhere between 1.3 and 2.9 single spaced pages)

Authors/Co-authors:  Feel free to author solo or team up with a colleague. Co-writing can lighten the load, and it can also be a lot of fun! First-time authors are always welcome, so do not be shy if you are new to writing for publication. There will be support throughout the process.

Deadline info: This article is due to contributing editors (Beth and Laura) by 8/15/25. Please inform of us your interest prior to writing an article.

Please feel free to reach out to us if you would like to ask additional questions or discuss your idea prior to submission.
