Hi all,
We have one lead NIH grant at Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia). Navigating the US systems has been a learning curve for us and I am currently facing some reluctance from my finance colleagues to engage with the new requirements put in place by the NIH on 10 Feb to access their Payment management System.
As you are no doubt aware, grant recipients must register and enable multi-factor authentication with ID.me in order to log in. This requires an individual providing personal documentation to log in to the system - and hence the reluctance of our finance team.
I wondered if other (international) institutions have had any issues like this or if you could share your experience with setting up ID.me to draw down funds from the NIH? I have been advised by the PMS helpdesk that there is no other option (which I expected).
I would be very grateful for any help or advice!
Thanks,
Fiona
