  • 1.  Travel Support to attend NCURA Region VI VII Annual Meeting, Nov 2-5 in Costa Mesa CA

    Posted Fri September 05, 2025 17:44

The University of Idaho and Southern Utah University are partnering through our National Science Foundation grant (2527549) via GRANTED which we call AI4RA to offer travel support, up to $2500, to attend NCURA VI/VII Regional Meeting 2025 in Costa Mesa, CA. Application submissions will be reviewed if received between September 8 and midnight September 21st. The selection committee will review the week of September 22nd with a goal of notifying selected applicants by end of day September 26. This timeline will allow selected applicants to secure the early bird registration rate and get the conference hotel block rate.

Attendance at the AI4RA workshop (From Individual Bricks to Institutional Masterpieces: Scaling AI in Research Administration) on November 2nd is required to receive this travel support. The extra registration cost can be included in the reimbursement request, and this travel support would cover per diem for that date and a hotel night for early arrival to attend the Sunday workshop.

Receipts must be provided for all expenses except per diem, which will be calculated based on the GSA for the meeting location and arrival and departure times.

The stipend (up to $2500) will cover standard travel costs for this meeting, including GSA rate per diem, hotel stay, ground transportation to and from the airport (if relevant), airfare (see note about travel policies), and other standard travel fees allowable under NSF and university travel policies.
