    Science Magazine is reporting that with the arrival of DOGE at NSF, the issuance of all new grant awards has been temporarily suspended:

    NSF has now published an Updates on NSF Priorities page which outlines their plan to terminate certain awards and stop publishing funding opportunities that do not align with "the policy framework established by Congress, the Administration, and the Director of NSF".  They also provide some information regarding the Broader Impacts section of proposals.
