Jeanne has over 25 years of experience serving at the Director level in several sponsored research and research development offices. She has managed the entire "life cycle" of grants and research administration, which includes the research development function—conducting workshops, providing training, and securing funding for both individual and institutional proposals—through to the closeout of all requirements and ensuring compliance.
Through her leadership, Jeanne has successfully established two sponsored research offices: the first at New College of Florida and the second at Florida Polytechnic University. Her work in managing and expanding the Office of Research Development at Florida Atlantic University and starting the Office of Research Training and Outreach at the University of Central Florida further highlights her significant impact in the field.
She is a Co-Principal Investigator on a GERMINATION grant funded by the National Science Foundation. Additionally, Jeanne has started two businesses that focus on research administration coaching, team formation (including the publication of two books), as well as a professional and career coaching business.
Since 2003, Jeanne has been an active member of NCURA, demonstrating her commitment to professional development. Her service on numerous committees and her extensive presentations at Annual and Regional Meetings reflect her dedication to advancing research administration. She served as Chair of Region III for 2024-2025 and as Immediate Past Chair for 2025-2026.
Jeanne is passionate about training, educating, and coaching executives, colleagues, and faculty in their careers. She is also focused on developing research analytics and leveraging AI to support the next generation of research administration professionals. Outside of her professional pursuits, she is an avid weightlifter and enjoys spending time at the gym with her husband!
