    Hi friends,

Beth Kingsley and I are reaching out to colleagues who might be interested in writing an article for the May/June issue of NCURA Magazine. Here are the details:

Topic: Choose any aspect of research administration related to contracting (including subcontracting) and relevant to the designated theme.

Theme for the May/June 2026 Issue: The theme for this issue aligns with the theme of AM68, "The Power of Community": Research administration is never done alone - our best solutions, boldest ideas, and strongest support systems are built together. AM68's location in New York City this year feels fitting, because it's a place where connections happen easily and collaboration is a way of life. We hope members walk away feeling re-energized by connection, empowered by shared knowledge, and reminded that collaboration amplifies impact. Most of all, we hope they leave knowing that NCURA's strength is not just in our expertise, but in each other. Contributions to this magazine issue are not limited to AM68 meeting attendees; all are welcome!

Suggested length: Between 650 and 1300 words (i.e., 1-2 single spaced pages). Any references should be in standard APA style.

Authors/Co-authors:  Feel free to author solo or team up with a colleague. Co-writing can lighten the load, and it can also be a lot of fun! First-time authors are always welcome, so do not be shy if you are new to writing for publication. There will be support throughout the process.

Deadline info: This article is due to contributing editors (Beth and Laura) by 3/6/26.

Please reach out to us if you would like to ask additional questions or discuss your idea prior to submission.

    Thanks!
